About Perth Hills Events

Perth Hills Events

“The home of curated events that bring communities together and showcase the best of Western Australia”

Perth Hills Events has been an evolution over the last nine years. It all began with the Hills Fabric De-stash events (now called Hills Fabric and Craft De-stash) that brought together us fabric hoarders so we could clean out our cupboards… and add to other hoarders to cupboards. Our founder, Fleur who was helping run Etsy Support for AU and NZ online at the time was then approached by Etsy to put on an ‘Etsy Made in the Hills’, which she of course leapt at… and this began the artisan market journey. The ‘Perth Hills Artisan Markets’ were born, initially started life out on the green lush ovals then later moving into indoor spaces to get out of the heat and rain - eventually becoming the hills’ largest indoor artisan market. That has since expanded out into new artisan market locations including Joondalup with more to come (watch this space!)

We also branched out into other events including Gourmet in The Park, sewing & craft events, retreats, specialized events, pop ups and more.

Our Founder

Fleur Adams is a mum of two beautiful kids, an arts need and a fabric addiction. Growing up in the Perth Hills, Fleur is passionate about all things creative and her local community. She also gets immense fulfilment out of being a part of initiatives that help people and communities to grow & thrive.

Taking her many talents, a healthy dose of determination and her crazy organisational skills, she saw the opportunity to support local artisans in promoting their work and established Perth Hills Artisan Markets (referred to as the PHAMily by vendors and customers) in 2017… and has never looked back! Don’t forget the destash that started it all in 2016.

Fleur is a true asset to our community and with her fierce determination, we’re excited to see what the future holds for Perth Hills Events.
